Reston Sprint Triathlon
The annual Reston Sprint Triathlon takes place on the first Sunday in June. It begins with a 400-meter swim in Lake Newport pool, followed by a 12-mile bike ride on Reston roads, and ends with a 5K run on area paths. Afterward, celebrate your success and share stories with friends and family in the post-race beer garden.
Reston Triathlon
Since 1984, the Reston Triathlon has been a staple in our community. It begins with a 1500-meter open water swim in Lake Audubon, followed by a 25-mile bike ride and a 10K run on local paths. The Olympic distance event has challenged athletes from around the country and has affectionately been called the Reston Triathlon World Championship.
