The 2022 Virtual Reston Sprint Triathlon
will be held from
June 5th through June 30th
For our 16th year of serving the community through multi-sport, the Reston Sprint Triathlon team is pleased to present both virtual and in-person events.
The 2022 virtual event begins on Sunday, June 5th which is also race day for the 16th Annual RST in-person event. Participants may complete their virtual tri any time between June 5th and June 30th.
The RST Virtual registration cost is $40 plus a $15 USAT one-day membership fee and includes an event shirt and medal. ($15 USAT fee is waived for participants who provide a valid annual USAT membership number.) Service charges apply.
Athletes will also receive race bibs and completion certificates downloadable from the RaceEntry athlete self-management platform. Registration fee is nonrefundable and cannot be transferred or deferred.

NEW for 2022, the virtual Superhero Splash and Dash youth event coincides with the RST virtual so the whole family can join the fun. Register for the Superhero Splash and Dash here.
Packet pickup will be at Lake Newport pool on
- Friday, June 3rd: 4 pm to 8 pm
- Saturday, June 4th: 11 am to 4 pm
- Plan to attend the free RST Health and Wellness fair on Saturday
- Sunday, June 5th*: 8 am to 11 am
- During the RST in-person event
*Note: Sunday packet pickup applies to virtual participants only. RST in-person race participants must pick up their packets on June 3rd or 4th only.
You can add $10 during registration to request your swag be mailed. Mailouts will occur in mid-June and may not be received by registrant until after the virtual race dates have concluded.
